Catechesis of the Good Shepherd trainings for those wishing to lead ages 3-6 and 6-9 year olds are being held in the Atlanta area, beginning in June.

 Christian Education in the Diocese of Atlanta is based on the phrase, "Christianity is a way of life. It is the life of the baptized." The programs, resources and planning for Christian formation and education in the Diocese of Atlanta is overseen by the Commission on Education. Commission members are the advisory group for he education staff of the Resource Center, the Institute for Ministry & Theological Education and Education for Ministry. The commission's budget also funds events such as the Ministry Fair, Christian educator conferences, workshops and meetings that reach a wide number of clergy and parishioners throughout the diocese.
