Join parishioners and others at St. Andrew's in the Pines for an Advent Quiet Day.  The Presenter will be Diana Blosser, Episcopal retreat leader and spiritual director.  Ms. Blosser has led retreats and workshops throughout the Diocese of Atlanta and is currently the organist/choir master at St. Andrew's. 

Coffee and Gathering from 8:30 - 9 a.m., followed by:

9:00 a.m. --  Morning Prayer. 

9:30 --  First session: How did Mary prepare for the birth of her Son?

10:15  --  Gather for discussion

10:45  --  Second session:  How do we prepare for the birth of Christ in our lives today?

11:30  --  Gather for discussion

12 noon --  Closing Worship

What is Christian Education about in the Diocese of Atlanta?

Christian Education in the Diocese of Atlanta is based on the phrase, "Christianity is a way of life. It is the life of the baptized."  The programs, resources and planning for Christian formation and education in the Diocese of Atlanta is overseen by the Commission on Education. Commission members are the advisory group for he education staff of the Resource Center, the Institute for Ministry & Theological Education and Education for Ministry.  The commission's budget also funds events such as the Ministry Fair, Christian educator conferences, workshops and meetings that reach a wide number of clergy and parishioners throughout the diocese.  We have many other pages on specific educational information.
